People often ask me the same questions over and over again, so I've created this page to answer any questions you might have about me. Some of these answers might help; some might not. Bottom line is that if you do have a question you'd like to ask, email me at [email protected]. I will do my best to get back to you ASAP!!
Frequently
Asked Questions (FAQ)
(Q1.) How do you pronounce your last name? This one gets mispronounced all
the time, but the way I say it is Wee-cha. The “ch” should be pronounced
the same way as the “ch” sound in “church.”
(Q2.) What is your ethnic background? My dad’s side of the family is Polish and Ukrainian. My mom’s side of the family is Irish and Scottish.
(Q3.) Where is Niagara-on-the-Lake? Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL) is situated in the Niagara Peninsula along Lake Ontario. It is 20 minutes north of Niagara Falls, Canada (or 90 minutes south-east of Toronto).
No, no. You are correct to assume that there is no ending to the
game. It is by far the worst game I have ever played for the Nintendo 8-bit
system. Do yourself a favour and
get rid of it. If you’re really
lucky, you might be able to get $1.00 for it from your local game trader.
(Side Note: If anyone has beaten “Rad Gravity,” I would really
like to know how you did it.)
(Q5.) Which are you: a squirt or a midget?
I’m a “squidget.”
(Q6.) What colour is your Beretta really? Some people say it’s pink. The ownership says it’s purple. To tell you the truth, I really don’t know.
(Q7.) What has been your greatest accomplishment in life? I’ll tell you when I become a father.
(Q8.) You looked so adorable as a kid!! And you’re still cute if I might add! That wasn’t really a question, but thanks!
(Q9.) What has been your biggest life-changing event? I would have to say my second year of university. That year was particularly hard on me as I had to deal with my friend’s suicide. Until then, I have never had to face my own mortality. Since that year, I have found myself to be more laid-back, and much more appreciative of my friends and family.
(Q10.) Who is your greatest influence? When it comes to celebrities, I would definitely say Billy Corgan, the former frontman of the Smashing Pumpkins. There is something about his songs of alienation, love, and rejection that really come to heart. I don’t think I “fit in” with any particular group. I am still trying to figure out who I am, and I don’t think I ever will until the day I die. On the other hand, Mr. Corgan has always been involved with charitable work that somehow involves youth, and for that I admire him. On a more personal level, my mom is my biggest influence. She is also my biggest critic, so when I do something that pleases her I know I’ve done something right. As scary as it sounds, I quite often find myself asking what she would do when faced with tough situations.
(Q11.) If you could go back to one point in your life, where would you go and why? My last year of high school is something I wish I could do over again. I never realized the value of time until I started university. It seems like there’s always a million things to do, so I never seem to have time to do anything. It’s also been difficult to keep in touch with my childhood friends. I haven’t seen some since high school, so I wish I could go back for just a day so I could hang out with them again.
(Q12.) What is your favourite memory? There’s too many to list, but I would have to say the time I went to Munich, Germany for my Spring Break in Grade 12. Although it was the third time I had gone on the annual European trip that my high school puts on, there was something about that trip that topped any trip I have ever gone on before. Maybe it was the bus ride from Munich to Paris, France. Maybe it was the day excursion on Mount Pilatus in Lucerne, Switzerland. Maybe it was the Jack Daniels, I don’t know. What I do know is that that was the last major trip I've been on as a kid, so maybe that’s why I have a special place in my heart for it.
Since the age of thirteen or
fourteen, I have dreamt of one day becoming a lawyer. I’m not doing it for the money because in reality, there
isn’t as much wealth in it as people think.
And I’m not doing it for the “status symbol” because I’m not into
“labels” that society places on each and everyone of us.
I want to do it for the sheer thrill of bringing justice back to
society. I love trying to figure
what the opposing counsel has for its case, and then convincing the jury why
my case is better. (As my friends
and family might say, I always love to argue and hear myself talk.)
It’s like a game where the rules and situations change everyday, and
that’s why it appeals to me. If I had my way, however, I would
totally like to be a rock star or some world re-known celebrity.
I find myself mesmerized by certain celebrities.
If I could have that same appeal on other human beings, I would promote
important social causes rather than have the media focus on what I ate for breakfast
or whom I took to the Academy Awards. I
find that, in general, North American pop culture is totally frivolous, and
kids need more people, like Rage Against the Machine, John Lennon or Bono, to show them the important
things in life.
(Q14.) If you could change one thing about you, what would it be? As surprising as it might sound,
it wouldn’t be my height. I’m
quite comfortable with my stature. I
would change my hair, however. Having
several cowlicks is such a pain in the ass!!! Unless I use an entire bottle of
hair gel, I’d be lucky to have a semi-decent hair day.
(Q15.) What is something you’d like to tell people about you that they don’t know? Even though people see me as a very friendly and outgoing person, I still feel insecure about myself. Like I mentioned earlier, I really don't feel like I belong to any particular group, so I feel like I'm always having to prove myself to others so I can feel accepted.
